Made from Delrin, these strut rod bushings won’t deflect like the OEM style rubber bushings. Ideal for racing classes where a strut rod with a rod end pivot is not allowed. These strut rods can be used to adjust caster.
NOTE: Roller lower control arms are highly recommended with this product. The OEM style rubber bushing will bind if the lower arm is moved forward to add caster.
DO NOT overtorque the bushing. The gold sleeve in this kit is not a positive stop for the torque adjustment. The pivot needs to move freely. Torque only enough to take up the play. Each car and possibly each side of the car will be different as Ford did not put the same strut rod mounting bracket in all of the cars.
