Complete Kit for 67-68 Mustang & Cougar with Clutch Pedal & Pedal Stop

Will NOT fit 69-70 Mustang due to cowl floor differences. Not recommended for use with long tube headers.

Kit Includes:

- Adjustable cable stop

- Cable with 3" adjusting threads

- Pedal with quadrant welded on

- Clutch pedal stop (bolts to pedal support)

- 2 plastic flange bushings for pedal shaft

- Shaft washer & cotter pin

Installation Note:

Requires welding and modification of the existing pedal support for the adjustable pedal stop (highly recommended). This kit works with original classic style bellhousings but requires installation of a cable-type release arm and a new pivot bolt (fulcrum).

Compatibility:

Fits 67-68 Mustangs and other Fords using similar clutch pedals. This kit allows modification of the clutch pedal for a later model quadrant setup, ideal for T-5 or Tremec manual transmissions.

Installation Reminder:

This setup requires removal of the clutch pedal and pedal support. The MustangSteve Cable Clutch Conversion will make your car feel modern with a smoothly operating clutch.

Additional Requirements:

A later model 10" or 10-1/2" diaphragm clutch is required (e.g., Ford Racing King Cobra). The 10-1/2" clutch requires a late model bolt pattern on the flywheel.

Using with Transmissions:

Designed for T-5 or Tremec conversions. For original Mustang standard transmissions, some fabrication is needed, including installation of a cable-type release arm and new pivot bolt. An aluminum plate must be welded into the bellhousing, and a cable housing stop must be fabricated.
