Will Rod & Custom drop spindles work with this kit? Since the Rod & Custom drop spindles have a proprietary brake bolt pattern, stock Mustang II brakes will not bolt up. Since the MustangSteve brackets are designed to fit the stock Mustang II brake bolt pattern the MustangSteve brackets can be used but will require modification to match R&C non-stock bolt pattern.
If you plan to use MustangSteve brackets notify us before ordering. We will leave the welded tab on the bracket un-welded so you can relocate it and weld it to fit your spindles. You may also be required to relocate a drilled hole also.
Will American Racing Torque Thrust II 17” wheels work with this kit? Unfortunately they will will not clear Cobra or GT calipers.
94-04 Cobra hoses: Note they have a 3/8” SAE inverted flare on one hose and 7/16” inverted flare thread on the opposite side. (On frame end of the hose) Depending on the year of the calipers, the banjo bolts can be fine or coarse thread.
