Note: Can be modified to work with long tube headers.

This cable clutch kit is compatible with original classic style bellhousings but requires a cable-type release arm and a new pivot bolt (fulcrum).

Installation Note:
Requires removal of the clutch pedal and pedal support for quadrant installation. This conversion provides long-lasting service and easy cable replacement access.

Note: A later model 10" or 10-1/2" diaphragm clutch is required (e.g., Ford Racing King Cobra). The 10-1/2" clutch requires a late model bolt pattern on the flywheel.

Using with Toploader or T10 Transmission:  
The quadrant kit is designed for T-5 or Tremec conversions with a cable clutch. If using with the original Mustang standard transmission, some fabrication is needed.

Fabrication Requirements:
- Install a cable-type release arm and a new pivot bolt (fulcrum) in the bellhousing.
- Use a Mr. Gasket replacement fulcrum bolt and a Ford release arm from an '87-'93 5.0 Mustang with a T5.
- Weld an aluminum plate into the bellhousing and thread a 1/2" hole for the new fulcrum bolt.
- Fabricate a cable housing stop for outside the bellhousing.
