2.5" S197 Front Brakes for 65-73 Mustang Using Mustang II Drop Spindles

Compatible with classic Mustang or other classic Ford.

Brake Options:

2005-2010 Mustang GT 12.5" front brakes – Requires 17" wheels

2011-2014 Mustang V6 12.5" front brakes – Requires 17" wheels

2011-2014 Mustang GT 13.2" front brakes – May require 18" wheels for clearance

2013-2014 Mustang GT 14" 4-piston performance brakes – May require 18" wheels for clearance

Instructions

Hubs: Uses V8 drum brake hubs from 65-73 Mustang or mid-size Ford/Mercury.

Bearings and Seals: Use Mustang II bearings and seals.

Kit Includes:

- Custom caliper mounting brackets

- Grade 8 fitted bracket bolt kit

- Caliper mounting bolts with flanged head

- Rotor hub-centric ring

Compatibility with Rod & Custom Spindles

Stock Mustang II brakes won’t fit; modifications required. Notify us before ordering for adjustments.

Wheels:

American Racing Torque Thrust II 17” wheels do not clear Cobra or GT calipers. Some 17” wheels may fit larger brakes, but the owner must verify.
