Questions & Answers

Q: Will this Master Kit clear long tube headers?

It can be modified to clear long tube headers, and clears short-tube headers without issue (you may need to pull the header briefly during install).

Q: What's actually included in the Master Kit?

A full pedal support assembly with our ball-bearing kit (BBK) already installed, an adjustable cable stop for the clutch cable, the cable clutch pedal, and a brake pedal — everything needed to convert a 65-66 from the stock Z-bar clutch linkage to a cable clutch for manual (non-power) brakes.

Q: Does my clutch need to be a certain style for the cable to work well?

No — this works with any transmission that uses an external clutch arm, the same style clutch actuation used on the factory T5 setup in 79-93 Mustangs. As long as your transmission has that kind of external release arm, the cable actuates it correctly regardless of clutch disc or pressure plate style. Note: 94-95 Mustang bellhousings may require fabrication to work with this kit.
