Adapter Bushings for 64-66 Mustang and 60-65 Falcon/Comet

Fits 64-1/2 to 66 Mustangs, 60-65 Falcons, and Comets (except 1963) into 75-80 Granada, Monarch, and Versailles spindles. Compatible with all 6-cylinder or V8 tie rods. Pricing is for ONE bushing.

Instructions: 

Important Notes:

- 64-66 Falcons may have the same tie rods as 65-66 Mustangs or larger 67 size tie rods; verify before ordering.

- 63 Falcons use the same tie rod as Granada.

- If spindles use rotors thicker than 1", they are NOT Granada or Versailles spindles. Some LTD II and Cougar spindles from 1975-79 may appear similar but will NOT fit Mustangs or Cougars from 1964-1/2 to 1973.

- All Granada and Versailles rotors are 0.875" thick, with a minimum thickness of 0.810".

Why You Need These Bushings:

65-66 Mustangs with V-8 and power steering have a unique driver-side outer tie rod. When installing disc brakes from Granada, Maverick, Versailles, or 70-73 Mustang or Cougar, a later model tie rod cannot replace the unique driver-side unit. Six-cylinder Mustangs have a smaller outer tie rod end that does not fit larger disc brake spindles. These adapter bushings allow for easy installation of outer tie rods into the spindles without further modifications.

Compatibility:

These tie rod bushings also fit Falcons, Cougars, and other small Fords of the era using similar-sized tie rods.
