Using silicone can result in unwanted noise and vibration, especially if it's not evenly distributed to eliminate metal-on-metal contact. It can be tedious and time-consuming, but this shifter gasket is the solution.
This gasket, made from 1/16" high-temperature silicone rubber, makes it quick and easy to install or service your shifter. You won't have to worry about the shifter being hard to remove when servicing, and best of all, the gasket is reusable.
